Hello World!

Being a Brit, there's one site I'd recommend to you all. And that's the Words That Could Be Confusing & Embarrassing In The UK & US site.

Who ever would have guessed that innocent school time chatter like 'Can you pass me a rubber please?' would have sexual connotations?

I heard another great experience of a Brit in the US the other day. My friend walked into a shop in America and asked for a pack of drawing pens. The assistant handed him a box of thumb tacks.
