Nicholas Worth, a guest star on two Star Trek series, died of heart failure on May 7th.

StarTrek.com posted an obituary for the actor, who is perhaps most recognizable to Star Trek fans as Dr. Chaotica's henchman Lonzak from two episodes of Voyager, "Bride of Chaotica!" and "Shattered."

Worth also appeared on Deep Space Nine as the Lissepian Captain who made a business deal with Jake and Nog in "Progress" and as an Orion Syndicate assassin in "A Simple Investigation." A frequent genre villain, Worth also appeared on The X-Files and Tarzan: The Epic Adventures and in such films as Don't Answer the Phone!, Darkman and the acclaimed television movie The Rape of Richard Beck.

A US Army veteran, Worth was born in 1937 and attended the Carnegie Institute of Technology (later Carnegie Mellon University), then studied at the Pasadena Playhouse and appeared in plays before making his first film, For Pete's Sake. A Los Angeles-area resident since the 1960s, Worth died in Van Nuys, California at age 69.

The Los Angeles Times published an obituary for Worth in May.
