'Q2' Promo Now Online

With the debut of 'Q2' less than a week away, UPN has released a trailer for the first new Voyager episode out of repeats. Courtesy of Media Trek, a digitised version of the 20-second clip is available for download below. As per usual, we've provided a transcript for those without the bandwidth to spare.

[A planet/moon's curved horizon, then quick montages of the ship...]

THERE ARE ONLY 7 NEW EPISODES LEFT BEFORE VOYAGER SERIES' FINALE...

[Montage continues during previous voiceover: Seven of Nine, the number 7 followed by the 'New Episodes' logo, Tom Paris, B'Elanna Torres, Tuvok, Captain Janeway]

WEDNESDAY

to the tune of William Tell's Overture

[In Sickbay, Q, in a Voyager command uniform, turns towards the camera]

LIKE FATHER...

[Janeway being held close by Q in her quarters]

[A flash and her clothes morph into something skimpier - evening wear.

Janeway: "Q..."

...LIKE SON.

[Closeup of Q Jr on the Voyager bridge with a smug grin]

[Cut to Cargobay Two - looking at Seven from the back]

[Another flash and her clothes are suddenly gone]

[Cut breifly to Janeweway's Ready Room where Q jr is holding a silver bowl and laughing]

[Cut back to cargobay two - Seven's clothes are still gone. She turns around and very nonplussed]

Q Jr: "Talk about perfection!"

AN ALL NEW VOYAGER...

[Cut to exotically dressed women dancing in a party atmosphere - in engineering.]

Q Jr voiceover: "Relax..."

[Janeway, Tuvok, and Chakotay walking sternly through the corridor.]

[Q Jr, drink in hand, talking with Janeway and Torres.]

Q Jr: "...it's a party!"

[Janeway in close-up, sitting in her command chair, heaves a sigh, rolls her eyes skywards and throws her head against the chair backing.]
