  • Jeff Bond of Mothership has posted his review of the 'A Christmas Carol' DVD/video. The movie stars Patrick Stewart (Picard) and was awarded a B-.

  • IGN Sci-Fi, in conjunction with Simon & Schuster Interactive, is running a competition where you can win "authentic Star Trek prop used by Commander Sisko on the set of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine". Runners up will recieve copies of 'Deep Space Nine - The Fallen'.

  • Wil Wheaton (Wesley Crusher) and Ed Begley, Jr (Henry Starling) will no longer be appearing in person on "The J. Keith van Straaten Show" on Thursday, December 7, due to conflicting jobs, but have taped "have taped "funny video hellos" to be shown instead.

  • According to her official site, Jeri Ryan (Seven of Nine) will be appearing on both 'The Daily Show with Jon Stewart' and 'Late Night with Conan O'Brien' on the 14th of December.

  • 'Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy' based on the Le Carré's spy novel and starring Patrick Stewart (Picard), will be shown on BBC 2 at 7pm on December 26.

  • In an odd twist of fate, a man named Harry Kim was sworn in as the 7th Mayor of the island of Hawaii. Thanks go out to Brian Sanford for this interesting aside.

  • 'The Deep Space Nine - Horizons' web site, home to the current 'bring back DS9 campaign', has been completely re-vamped, with a new layout and more content. Also, Doug Wilson, one of the two co-organizers of the campaign, has also sent along the latest progress report. The current petition signature total as of 12:41am this morning is 1,725, with between 210 and 255 new signatures being added each day. The campaign has also gained the support of news site, The Great Link, and has been in contact with 'Star Trek: The Magazine'.
