Over 9 million viewers watched the first regular Enterprise episode, a drop from the series premiere, but still eclipsing anything achieved by Voyager in its last few years.

'Fight Or Flight' gained a 5.7 rating, 9 share, down from 'Broken Bow's' final rating of 7.0/11, Inside.com reported. Thus, 5.7% of households with television sets watched Enterprise, whilst the episode was viewed by 11% of those watching at 8pm. This translates to a total viewership of 9.18 million, according to trade paper Variety.

Enterprise still maintained 73% of its debut numbers in the all-important adults 18-49 demographic, scoring a 4.6 rating, 13 share, finishing second only to ABC. Voyager's first regular episode was only able to maintain 67% of its premiere rating in the demographic.

Additionally, although these figures are down from the 6.3/16 scored by 'Broken Bow,' they were equal to the 18-49 rating achieved by 'Endgame'. This is up by 59% from the 2.9/7 averaged by Voyager in its last season, and helped Enterprise win the hour in all adult male demographics.

Special Unit 2 was only able to retain 43% of the 18-49 rating achieved by Enterprise, earning a rating of 2.0/5 and 3.0/5 total. However, this was good enough to ensure than UPN came second for the night in men 18-34.
