T'Pol To Explore Her Emotional Side

September 6, 2001 - 12:12 PM

T'Pol, Enterprise's Vulcan observer, may not be burying her Vulcan cynicism for too long, according to a new report posted online today.

The Vulcan Sub-Commander, played by Jolene Blalock, will come to embrace her buried emotions during the series, according to a report by 'Hercules' at Ain't It Cool News.

Apparently T'Pol will be a "bad match" for the traditional Vulcan ways. The character will "soon see value in things beyond pure logic," the report stated.

The relationship between the usually stoic Vulcan and the more emotional Captain Archer is still being touted as one of the major sources of conflict in the series. "My character doesn't care much for Vulcans," Scott Bakula (Captain Archer) recently told Entertainment Weekly. "He doesn't know very much about them - they're new to humans and we don't trust them. He'd be thrilled if he didn't have one on his bridge."

Please remember that this has not yet been officially confirmed by Paramount and until then should be treated as you would any rumour. The original report, together with some speculation on Enterprise's villain, can be found here.
