Robert Beltran (Chakotay) will play the lead in The Big Knife onstage in Hollywood beginning in November.

Performances will take place at the Lillian Theatre from November 1 through December 14, according to Beltran's official web site.

Written by Clifford Odets, the play was originally produced on Broadway in 1949 with John Garfield in the leading role. It was later made into a film starring Jack Palance.

The drama focuses on an aging matinee idol engaged in a struggle with studio moguls and with his ex-wife. He becomes mired in the ugliness underlying Hollywood's fantasy images.

Ticket availability and prices have not yet been announced. For more information visit RobertBeltran.com.
