Star Trek: Voyager actors Robert Picardo (The Doctor) and Tim Russ (Tuvok) both released new music CDs recently, available now through their web sites and at their appearances.

Extreme Bob, a collection of satires much like Picardo's previous release, Basic Bob, debuted at the Grand Slam Convention in Pasadena, California on March 28. Subtitled "more parodies, travesties, anomalies", the new CD features Picardo's trademark wit that has made him extremely popular as a convention guest.

Twenty percent of the proceeds from sales of the CD will benefit The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation.

Tim Russ debuted Brave New World, a follow-up to Only a Dream in Rio, Tim Russ and Kushangaza, at Deepcon in Italy last month. The CD contains seven songs, including Russ' own title track and Van Morrison's "Moondance".

Jeff Berkwits wrote at Scifi.com that on the eponymous CD released in 2000, "Russ's delicate vocal inflections magnificently capture" the emotions of the songs.

More information about the musical career of Russ can be found at his official web page, which also has musical clips, plus information on his performances and how to order CDs. Brave New World is also available from Amazon.com via this link.

Extreme Bob can be ordered from Robert Picardo's official fan club, CARPE, by following this link.
