Quite a bit has gone on in the Trek publishing world over recent days it seems. First off, LCARSCom.net has new interviews with two of the DS9 relaunch authors, S.D. Perry, author of 'Avatar', the first two books in the series, and Keith R.A. DeCandido, author of books four and five in the series, 'Gateways: Demons of Air and Darkness' and 'What Lay Beyond'. Both authors talk about DS9, their previous writing experiences and their future in Trek books. The interview with S.D Perry can be found here, while Keith R.A. DeCandido's comments can be found here.

Meanwhile, over at PsiPhi, David Henderson has again updated his book database, with more on the re-launch and other book news. First off, there are new cover images, for 'Strange New Worlds IV', edited by Dean Wesley Smith and 'The Eugenics Wars: The Rise and Fall of Khan Noonien Soong: Volume One' by Greg Cox. Secondly, the publish date of the fourth instalment in the S.C.E. e-book series, 'Interphase Book One', has been pushed back by about a month to February, though there are plans to publish a subsequent instalment every following month, while 'Dark Passions' books one and two by Susan Wright are now on shelves. Finally, there has been another large update to Psi Phi's own DS9 relaunch section, with a new promotional image and info from Marco Palmieri on Quark and additions to the various other character pages, the plot section and updates to the schedule and timeline page.
