Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda is heading off into rerun season for a few weeks, but there's still plenty happening in the Andromeda universe.

Here's a round-up of the latest news from the show, courtesy of our sister site SlipstreamWeb.

  • Sorbo Names Favourite Episode
Kevin Sorbo (Dylan Hunt) named 'Ouroboros' as his favourite hour of the series so far. "It's got not only a lot of action in it," he said, "Because this one moves non-stop from the beginning to the end, but there's a huge transformation for one of our characters."

  • Review: Be All My Sins Remembered
Regular TrekToday and Slipstream reviewer Michelle Erica Green enjoyed the latest adventure for the Andromeda crew. "Beka's past comes back to haunt her in the form of a Borgified boyfriend," she wrote.

  • Laura Bertram's Big Break
The actress behind Trance Gemini recalled the way she got started in the acting business. A spell in an Opera Chorus and five years on Ready or Not helped make sure Bertram was firmly bitten by the acting bug.

  • Latest Episode A Ratings Success
After a string of disappointing ratings figures, Lava & Rockets' reclaimed the top spot in the league table of syndicated first run action hours; and drew the show's biggest audience since March last year.

  • Lexa Doig Talks Rommie
The actress who plays three roles in every episode talked about the ups and downs associated with each part. "Sometimes I go to the writers and ask them if they actually ever said the lines themselves," she commented. "Luckily for me [the technical lines] are mostly spoken by the AI or the hologram, which means they are done in the green-screen room so I don't have to do the whole scene."

  • Andromeda Arrives In Australia
Fans Down Under will get their chance to see the show next month, when it is released on video and DVD in Australia. The first two volumes of the series will arrive in shops on April 16th and are available for pre-order now.
