The overnight ratings for last night's Star Trek: Enterprise episode, "Azati Prime", reflect increased viewership over last week's "Hatchery" despite preemptions in Dallas-Forth Worth and other markets for basketball.

According to Mediaweek.com's Programming Insider, "Azati Prime" earned a 3.7 overnight rating/5 share. This means that approximately 3.7% of American households were tuned to UPN, while Enterprise was viewed by 5% of households watching television at the time.

These numbers are identical to those brought in by "Doctor's Orders" two weeks ago. Last week's "Hatchery" earned only a 3.5 overnight rating last week. However, Enterprise remains in Programming Insider Marc Berman's loser's column.

In the fast national ratings, published at Zap2It, Enterprise earned a 2.6/4, up from a 2.2/4 last week.

Once again UPN finished last for Wednesday night, behind the WB's "also worthy of positive mention" Smallville, which brought in a 5.1/8 overnight, a rebound from last week's 4.8/7. ABC's Stephen King miniseries Kingdom Hospital finished in second place but FOX's American Idol continued to dominate, despite lowered ratings from last week.
