  • Some of the astronauts lost in the Columbia tragedy were inspired to take their careers by watching Star Trek, according to an Associated press article at Yahoo News!.

  • The Los Angeles Times website also has an article detailing the life of astronaut Michael P. Anderson and how he was a Star Trek fan, which can be found here.

  • The R2 Project website has posted a full list of running times for the extras in second season Deep Space Nine DVD box set. According to the information, gained from the BBFC, the total running time of extras is almost 100 minutes. The full list can be be found here.

  • German Network Sat 1 will begin airing Enterprise 21 March according to Star Trek Voyager Center. Thanks to Lin Xiang and GermanTrek!

  • Tickets for Kate Mulgrew's 'Tea at Five' at the Promenade Theatre in New York are now on sale. Previews start February 25, and it opens officially on March 9. More information can be found at the Totally Kate website.

  • Malcolm McDowell (Tolian Soran) and Whoopi Goldberg (Guinan) have signed on to provide their voices to the upcoming Canadian animated film 'Pinocchio 3000', according to SCI FI Wire.
