Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country and Star Trek: Generations will both be released as special collector's edition DVDs in 2004.

The Digital Bits said that fans excited about the Star Trek V: The Final Frontier collector's edition release on October 14th would be pleased to learn of a planned January release date for Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country.

With Star Trek: Voyager coming out in boxed sets beginning in February and continuing throughout 2004, the Star Trek: Generations - Special Collector's Edition is likely to be released later in the year.

"There are still no plans yet to bring The Animated Series or Enterprise to DVD," noted The Digital Bits.

"Finally, don't expect that Borg Megacube containing the entire Next Generation series on DVD (all 48 discs) to be released in Region 1," the site warned. The complete set is planned as a Region 2 release only, with a retail price of £450.99.
