'Special TV Guide magazine' - copyright TV Guide/Paramount Pictures As if 35 different Star Trek covers weren't enough, TV Guide will be releasing a special 'Star Trek 35th Anniversary Tribute' magazine on Monday May 6.

The 96-page magazine comes with three different holographic covers. In addition to the one seen here to the right, the other two versions feature Avery Brooks as Ben Sisko and Kate Mulgrew as Kathryn Janeway in place of Scott Bakula's Jonathan Archer.

A double-sized commemorative pull-out poster is also included in the magazine. On one side, it features all the 35 recent Star Trek TV Guide covers, and newly-commissioned images of the five main ships and their specifications on the other.

Content-wise, the magazine is packed full of interviews with Trek alumni past and present, including a section about creator Gene Roddenberry "in his own words." Enterprise executive producers Rick Berman and Brannon Braga offer their thoughts on what the future holds for the Star Trek franchise.

TV Guide was on the set of 'Star Trek: Nemesis' to interview the cast and crew about the upcoming feature film. "There is great electricity about the movie. The footage - the dailies - look more like a Ridley Scott film or John Woo film than a classic Trek movie," Berman told the magazine (via TrekWeb). "I think - contrary to rumors - that this is very, very likely not going to be the last movie. If this one does as well as I believe it will, it will be a mere matter of weeks - make that days - before Paramount comes to me and says 'So, when are we going to get to work on number 11?'"

Jonathan Frakes (Will Riker) echoed these thoughts. "If this is the end, we're going to end on a high," he said. "There's a lot of new energy on this picture. And that could encourage Paramount to stick with us. Of course, it'll all come down to the almighty buck. It's all about the box office."

The magazine also includes profiles on all the Trek characters (including the best episodes for each character), and each of the five series, naming the standout episodes from each show. TV Guide will also announce its pick for the title of greatest all-time Star Trek episode.

For the technically minded, there's a special section on 'Treknology,' with discussions from eminent scientists on whether we might see some of Trek's futuristic technology in use one day.

Chat show host Craig Kilborn has his own column, entitled 'If I Were Captain' in which he light-heartedly details the nine directives that would be introduced to Trek if he were at the helm.
