January 3, 2007 - 7:23 PMIn addition to an expected upcoming appearance on NBC's Heroes as the father of popular character Hiro Nakamura, George Takei (Sulu) will visit the Disney Channel's Cory in the House.
Zap2It reported that Takei would play a guest role on the spinoff of That's So Raven, which is set in Washington, DC and is about the son of the personal chef of the President of the United States.
Takei will play Ronald, the "rather snooty head steward" on Air Force One. Since the show focuses on Cory's struggles with the wealthy, arrogant people who surround government officials, Takei's character will likely not be greatly sympathetic.
Cory in the House is scheduled to premiere on Friday, January 12th. Takei will share screen time with Don Stark as a Russian Prime Minister.
Heroes returns later this month to introduce Takei's character, who wants his time-traveling Trekkie son to return home with him.
