Site Columns

Hello World!

Well, after an overwhelming amount of mail on the subject, I've decided to go with the best of both worlds - soon, the Site Columns will not only continue to be published every day, but they will also contain airdate info one day in advance. The introduction of this will happen in about two or three weeks, when there'll be another big chance in the way we update TrekToday. More on that when it actually starts - after my experiences earlier this year with the ever-delayed new site design I'm never going to promise things before they actually happen anymore.

Trek BBS Today

Below are some of the topics currently being discussed at the Trek BBS:

-Does Star Trek need a new generation of fans?

-What was the first DS9 episode you saw?

More topics can be found at the Trek BBS!

Today On TV

-In Canada, Space! will be showing DS9's 'Jetrel' at 4:15am Eastern Time and the Original Series' 'Court Martial' at 10:00am.

-In Germany, Sat.1 will be showing the Original Series' 'Die Stunde der Erkenntnis' (The Apple) at 14:00 CET, and Voyager's '23:59' (11:59) at 15:00 CET.

Poll Results

Below are the results of the most recent TrekToday poll:

Are you interested in Trek fanfic?
No. 45.4% - (285 Votes)
Yes, I read stories. 36.6% - (230 Votes)
Yes, I write stories. 17.8% - (112 Votes)

Total Votes: 627

I'm surprised by the large amount of people actually writing fanfic - 1 writer for every 2 readers wasn't a number I expected.

Maybe there'll also be a few surprises with the new poll, asking how many Trek episodes you watch per week:
