Detailed Biographies Of Enterprise Cast

Along with its official series announcement, Paramount released only the names of the principal cast, leaving fans wondering what actors such as Linda Park and Connor Trinneer had done before. But the show's new official biographies show that all of the cast are in fact seasoned actors

In the latest addition to the official Star Trek site's biographical section, each Series V actor now has their own page. The information includes a black and white publicity photograph and a full biography for each Enterprise star. Beginning with the new Captain, here is a summary:

  • Scott Bakula (Jonathan Archer)

    Education: Born in St. Louis, Missouri and moved to New York in 1976 to pursue a stage career.

    Previous Appearances: Made his debut on Broadway as Joe DiMaggio in 'Marilyn: An American Fable,' received a Tony Award nomination for role in 'Romance-Romance;' films include 'American Beauty,' 'Lord of Illusions,' and 'Life as a House;' television work includes five years in the lead role of Quantum Leap and 'What Girls Learn,' a recently completed telefilm which he also produced.

    Miscellaneous Information: Bakula doesn't just act - he can also sing! He has performed at the Kennedy Canter Honours, at Carnegie Hall and at the Hollywood Bowl with Carol Burnett.

  • John Billingsley (Phlox)

    Education: Born in Pennsylvania and moved around a lot during childhood. He acted in school plays and later went on to study theatre at Bennington College in Vermont.

    Previous Appearances: Billingsley appeared on the Los Angeles stage in plays such as 'The Winter's Tale,' and 'Great Expectations;' he can be seen in various movies, including 'Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles' and 'The Glass House;' and in television shows The Others, The West Wing, The Practice, and The X-Files.

    Miscellaneous Information: Billingsley lives with his actress wife and two pet cats in Los Angeles.

  • Jolene Blalock (T'Pol)

    Previous Appearances: Blalock has previously worked in a variety of television roles, most notably as Medea in Jason and the Argonauts. She has appeared in JAG, G vs E and Veronica's Closet.

    Miscellaneous Information: The actress lives in Los Angeles and enjoys a variety of sports, including surfing, skateboarding, and Thai-boxing.

  • Dominic Keating (Malcolm Reed)

    Education: Born in Leicester, England, the actor studied history and appeared in a variety of University plays.

    Previous Appearances: A variety of stage plays in England including 'The Christian Brothers' and 'Alfie;' film roles include 'Jungle 2 Jungle' and 'Almost Famous;' while he appeared on television in Desmonds and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

    Miscellaneous Information: Keating lives in Los Angeles and enjoys golfing, swimming, music, and boogie boarding.

  • Anthony Montgomery (Travis Mayweather)

    Education: Montgomery began acting while at University in Indiana, where he earned a degree in performance theatre and drama.

    Previous Appearances: Stage credits include 'Day of Absence' and 'Othello;' worked on the set of 'Hard Rain' as a background performer and production assistant; he appeaered as the host of Awesome Adventures and had a recurring role in Popular.

    Miscellaneous Information: Keating lives in Los Angeles and enjoys diving, swimming, dancing and martial arts.

  • Linda Park (Hoshi Sato)

    Education: Park began performing in theatre productions in high school and went on to study acting at Boston University. She was born in Korea and raised in California.

    Previous Appearances: Her role in Enterprise comes only a year after she graduated University, but the actress has already been seen in the film 'Jurassic Park III' and the T.V series Popular. Stage roles include 'Mad Forest,' and 'Lysistrata.'

    Miscellaneous Information: Park lives in Los Angeles. She is a certified actor combatant by the Society of American Fight Directors and an international level Ballroom dancer.

  • Connor Trinneer (Charles 'Trip' Tucker, III)

    Education: Trineer was born and attended University in Washington, where he played football and got involved in acting. He has degrees in Acting and in Acting and Directing.

    Previous Appearances: Trineer has appeared in stage productions of 'Hamlet' and 'Much Ado About Nothing;' and has made television appearances in shows such as Melrose Place and ER.

    Miscellaneous Information: The actor lives in Los Angeles, where he enjoys a variety of sports and is a novice coin collector.
