A new version of Free Enterprise, voted the greatest geek movie of all time by Entertainment Geekly, will be released on DVD in a two-disc set.

ComingSoon.net has reported that Anchor Bay Entertainment and Ludovico Technique will release a new "Five Year Mission Addition" version of Free Enterprise, which stars William Shatner as an alternate version of himself and was co-written by former Sci Fi Universe editor Mark Altman.

The DVD set will contain a new extended cut of the film with an added "Logan's Run" sequence. There will also be commentaries by director Robert Meyer Burnett and stars Shatner, Eric McCormack and Rafer Weigle.

The set is expected to debut at Wonder Con this month. Thanks to TrekWeb for the link.
