  • Douglas Pratt at Movie City News has posted a review of Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, in which he notes that while the people behind the film aren't Trek experts, "they do know a thing or two about pacing, suspense and entertaining viewers."

  • The next book club event at StarTrek.com will be held on July 27th. The featured book this month is The Case of the Colonist's Corpse by Tony Isabella and Bob Ingersoll. Fans can chat with each other and special guest Ingersoll on the 27th; the time will be announced at a later date.

  • Julia Houston at Scifi.About.com has an editorial about the non-Earth governments in Star Trek that often make Starfleet's government appear to be the ideal.
