Good News On The Ratings Front

By Amy

Star Trek Nielsen Rating Database has been updated with the two latest sets of figures, the overnight ratings for 'Workforce Part II' and the national ratings for the episode's first half. The news isn't that bad - in fact given the circumstances, it seems pretty good. In the overnight stakes, Voyager climbed half a rating to reach a solid 5.0 for the first time in this year at least. It also trouced faltering WB series 'Jack and Jill' by over 100%, continuing the trend from last week. Also, the news on the national front isn't as bad as it could be.

Despite the drop on the overnight ratings front and the Grammys eating up a large portion of the Market, last week's Voyager episode, the first half of 'Workforce', did better than many expected, slipping by only .1 to a 3 rating/5 share.

This leaves Voyager still in place as UPN's second highest rating show, ranking at 89 - the same as last week, trailing 'WWF Smackdown!' (4.5/) on 81. 'Seven Days', which guest-starred Voyager's Robert Picardo, garnered only a 1.8/ to come in at 103.
