Leonard Nimoy received the 2010 Douglas S. Morrow public outreach award last week in Colorado by the Space Foundation and as the honored speaker, he shared some of his Star Trek memories.

One of those memories included a speaking experience at Caltech several years ago, where Nimoy soon realized that he was a bit out of his league.

A list with the top hundred greatest sci-fi movies includes three Star Trek offerings.

As reported by Total Sci-Fi Online, movies on the list include a movie made back in 1902 as well as modern-day offerings such as Star Trek XI.

Box art for the forthcoming original series second season Blu-ray DVD set as well as for some of the Star Trek movies has been released.

As reported byTrekMovie.com, on September 22nd, several Star Trek DVD sets and movies will be released; the movies in both the DVD and Blu-ray format and the second season of the original series in Blu-ray. The movies include all the even-numbered ones minus Star Trek: Nemesis. (more…)
