Anton Yelchin, Star Trek XI‘s Chekov, recently voiced a character in the hybrid live-action and animated 3-D family comedy The Smurfs.
Yelchin voiced the character of Smurf Clumsy, an unlucky Smurf. Where Clumsy goes, bad luck is sure to follow.

Monday, April 5th, 2010Anton Yelchin, best-known to Star Trek fans as Pavel Chekov in Star Trek XI, has signed to voice the role of Clumsy Smurf in The Smurfs.
Yelchin joins Fred Armisen (Brainy Smurf), Jonathan Winters (Papa Smurf), George Lopez (Grouchy Smurf), Katy Perry (Smurfette), Alan Cumming (Gutsy Smurf). Live-action cast include Neil Patrick Harris and Jayma Mays as an expectant couple, Hank Azaria (evil wizard Gargamel) and Sofia Vergara as Harris’s boss, a cosmetics executive.
