Susan Sackett, former executive assistant to Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry, will be speaking in Indiana this weekend on behalf of humanism.
As reported by www.reporter-times.com, Sackett will be appearing this weekend in Bloomington and Indianapolis, where she will discuss “Humanism in Star Trek.” “Gene Roddenberry was a humanist and this is a good way to tie the two topics together,” said Sackett, who worked for Roddenberry from 1974 until his death in 1991.
