For fans who missed last weekend’s Propworx auction of items from the former Star Trek: The Experience, another auction will be held in August.
Items sold at the Propworx auction held on Saturday were not the “prime” items, but they sold at a brisk clip anyway.
Fans wanting a piece of the former Star Trek: The Experience will be interested in a warehouse sale by Propworx Inc. scheduled for Saturday, April 10.
As reported by TrekMovie.com, the auction, to take place tomorrow from 10 A.M.-3 P.M. at 66 Spectrum Blvd., Las Vegas, Nevada, will feature approximately one thousand items sure to delight Trek fans.
According to TrekMovie.com, fans wanting a piece of Star Trek: The Experience will be able at a future date to purchase some of the items formerly featured at the Trek-themed attraction formerly at the Las Vegas Hilton.
Star Trek: The Experience has been closed for more than a year now and while plans are still in progress to open a new attraction in downtown Las Vegas at the Neonopolis development, CBS has decided that not all of the items used in the Las Vegas Hilton attraction and stored in a warehouse when the attraction closed will be needed for the Neonopolis location.
Star Trek fans waiting and hoping for Star Trek: The Experience to reopen can experience a virtual Star Trek: The Experience while waiting.
Originally commissioned by park management as a historical archive and gift to the staff, now everyone can virtually visit the various sections of Star Trek: The Experience, including staff areas.
