Shatnerpalooza EPIX Free Trial Details

Monday, July 18th, 2011

For Star Trek fans who want to watch the forthcoming Shatnerpalooza this week, EPIX is offering US-based fans a free two-week trial offer.

The good news for the trial offer is that it comes “strings free,” meaning no credit card is needed to sign up for this free two-week trial. All one must do is to fill out an online form and mid-week would be a good time to do so to get the maximum time to watch all of the Shatner features.

The Long Khan

Friday, July 15th, 2011

Fans of Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan remember the scene where James T. Kirk screams out “KHHHHAAAAANNN!” after Khan informs him that he has marooned Kirk in the center of a dead planet and buried him alive.

Now, a fun fan activity tied in with EPIX’s Shatnerpalooza gives fans a chance to upload their own Khan screams.

The viral Shatner celebration is in progress and by heading to The Long Khan, fans can add their own video to the chain and contribute to the “longest Khan in history,” and can see what others have posted.

The Long Khan will run through August.
