Star Trek: Horizon Film

A new feature-length fan film will be set in the world of Star Trek: Enterprise, after the fourth season of the prematurely-cancelled series.

In Star Trek: Horizon, “the Coalition of Planets, a young alliance of worlds led by Earth, is at war with the Romulan Empire,” and “forms an alliance with T’mar, a Romulan deserter, in the hopes that she can provide valuable intelligence on her former masters.”


New Star Trek Action Figures

Action figure collectors who are fans of the original series will enjoy the “Dilithium Collection” released by Diamond Select Toys.

Three new sets, from three original series episodes, can be pre-ordered, with delivery expected in late October. The sets will sell for $31.98 each.

Playing a Romulan had Clifton Collins Jr. looking into the deepest, darkest part of himself.

Although he was not a Trekkie, Collins was aware of Star Trek, especially Leonard Nimoy. “I’ve got to say to you that I am not a Trekkie,” he said. “I think we all grew up watching Star Trek, whether you are a Trekkie or not. Not to mention, just the sound of Leonard Nimoy’s voice; it is something just so familiar to us growing up, in those earlier years of your childhood. There is something very comforting about it.”
