Phillips in Sparklepuff Lazerium

Star Trek Ongoing Comic #8

In April, fans will be able to buy issue #8 in the Star Trek ongoing comic series, featuring the crew from the rebooted Star Trek.

In Star Trek #8, Kirk and crew must “race against time to thwart a renegade Vulcan plot to destroy Romulus.”

Sarek of Vulcan, Spock’s father, will make a guest star appearance in Star Trek #8.

Written by Mike Johnson, Star Trek #8 will feature art by Joe Phillips, with a cover by Tim Bradstreet. There will be two variant covers, one a Bradstreet sketch cover, and one a photo cover.

Star Trek #8 will be thirty-two pages in length and cost $3.99.

Phillips To Co-star In Syfy Movie

Fans of Star Trek: Voyager‘s Ethan Phillips will be able to see the actor in a new original Syfy movie next year.

Phillips will be appearing in Arachnoquake, joining Tracey Gold (Growing Pains), Bug Hall (The Little Rascals) and Edward Furlong (Terminator 2: Judgment Day).

Nimoy And De Lancie Re-release Alien Voices Dramas

Fans who missed out on the original release of the Alien Voices audio dramas from Leonard Nimoy and John de Lancie can now order these dramas as digital downloads.

Other Star Trek actors from four of the five televised series can also be heard on the audio dramas.

Creation Hopes To Break Guiness World Record At Vegas Convention This Week

Trek Stars Audubon Birding Event

Several stars from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Voyager and Enterprise will be taking part in an event to support the Los Angeles Audubon Society in May.

Armin Shimerman, Robert Picardo, Ethan Phillips and John Billingsley are forming the “Bald(ing) Eagles of Star Trek” team, and are looking for people to sign up to join them for an “afternoon of adventure.”

This Saturday, June 13th, eight Star Trek actors will be appearing at the Frank & Son Collectible Show located in City of Industry, California.

As reported by Frank & Son Collectible Show, Star Trek Day will be held this Saturday, from 11 AM to 4 PM at the autograph signing and photo-op where fans who wish to add to their autograph and photo collections can purchase autographs or photo-ops from Star Trek actors seen in the original series, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: Voyager. Christmas Hallmark Star Trek Ornaments

Three new Star Trek ornaments can been seen online at Hallmark.com. The first new ornament is a Klingon Battle Cruiser that lights up and is battery operated.

A radiation-scarred Captain Christopher Pike is featured on the second ornament, along with Kirk and Spock. This ornament has a conversation between Kirk and Spock taken from The Menagerie, and Pike’s chair lights up.

The third ornament is a Starfleet Phaser. The phaser ornament has a sound clip between Kirk and Spock taken from “Conscience of the King,” as well as the sound of a phaser on overload.

The ornaments will appear this summer, and in the autumn. (more…)
