Star Trek: The Music Symphony

Star Trek actors John de Lancie (Q) and Robert Picardo (Star Trek: Voyager EMH) will be hosting Star Trek: The Music, featuring music performed by the Kitchener-Waterloo (Ontario, Canada) symphony.

On June 2nd and 3rd, Star Trek fans in the Ontario area will be able to hear some of the most notable music from Star Trek.

Trek Or Treat

Fans of War of the Worlds are in for a special Trek treat, as an airing of a classic radio show featuring several well-known Star Trek actors is available this weekend.

The L.A. Theater Works has posted their broadcast of War of the Worlds, which features Leonard Nimoy, Gates McFadden, Wil Wheaton and Brent Spiner. This War of the Worlds broadcast was directed by John de Lancie.

De Lancie: Moving Beyond Q

After years of being recognized for his role of Q, it’s a pleasure for John De Lancie when people recognize him as a result of other roles.

As reported by SciFi Scanner, De Lancie has no desire to play Q in a future Star Trek movie. “I have to say as the years have gone on I’m getting a little tired of just Q, because I do a lot of other things,” he said. “Almost everywhere in the world you go, people will come up and say, ‘Oh my God, you’re from Star Trek.’ But I was in Syria recently, and I had people stop me on the street, they came up to me and said, ‘Oh my God, we just saw Breaking Bad.’ That was a surprise. And it was great.”
