Star Trek And NASA Meetup

This morning, Damon Lindelof, Chris Pine, Alice Eve and John Cho joined astronauts Mike Finke, Kjell Lindgren (Houston), and Chris Cassidy (on the ISS) in an hour-long NASA broadcast in a “space bridge” webcast at Google+ Hangout.

J.J. Abrams, due to attend, was unable to do so, but submitted his intriguing question via taped video.

Trek Actor Television And Radio Appearances

First up will be tonight, on MTV, where J.J. Abrams, Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana and Benedict Cumberbatch will appear on MTV in “MTV First: Star Trek into Darkness.”

Cho Joins Sleepy Hollow

Star Trek into Darkness actor John Cho will be guest-starring in Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci‘s Sleepy Hollow pilot.

Sleepy Hollow will be a modern-day supernatural drama, in which Ichabod Crane finds himself transported to present-day Sleepy Hollow, where troubles await him.

New Baby For Cho

Star Trek‘s John Cho and wife Kerri Higuchi welcomed their second child recently, a little girl.

Cho and Higuchi were married in 2006, and had a son, Kage, in 2008.

No word yet on the name for the new baby.

Renewals For Abrams And Cho NBC Shows

Two shows, one produced by J.J. Abrams, and another in which John Cho has a role as a regular, have received full season orders from NBC.

The shows are Revolution and Go On.

Cho In New Comedy

Star Trek 2‘s John Cho will be seen on Go On, a new NBC comedy.

On Go On, Cho will portray Stephen, Ryan King’s (Matthew Perry) boss and closest friend. Stephen is an “ill-equipped, less-than-evolved male,” who “mandates therapy for the recently widowed Ryan,” and then “struggles to provide support as Ryan learns to cope with his grief.”
