Bakula To Play Lead In New Comedy Pilot

Star Trek: Enterprise‘s Scott Bakula is set to take on a new lead role, in NBC’s Table For Three.

In Table For Three, Pen (Christine Wood), “a responsible, guarded, brilliant but emotionally challenged Harvard Medical School graduate who just returned from a stint with Doctors Without Borders to discover that her beloved dentist dad, Robert, has become engaged to Pen’s high school classmate Holly (Nicky Whelan) – a 29-year-old bubbly blonde who happens to be the ‘mean girl’ in high school.”

Bakula will be playing Pen’s dentist father.

Table For Three is produced by 20th Century Fox and executive produced by Dana Klein and Aaron Kaplan. Klein is also writing Table For Three, which will be directed by Pam Fryman.
