An auction later this month will feature an Acer Aspire R7 Limited Edition Notebook with a Star Trek logo on it.

Only twenty-five of these unique notebooks were ever produced and prior to this auction, none have ever been offered to the public.

The Galileo Shuttlecraft prop was sold at an auction which ended yesterday.

Bidding was stalled at $20,000 until the last ninety seconds of the auction, when three late bidders jumped into the action. “It was pretty dramatic,” said Auctioneer Brooks Ames.

Earlier this month, a Star Trek auction by Propworx was held at the Las Vegas Hilton hotel, as reported by TrekToday; featuring props, furniture, artwork, models and costumes.

Two pieces from the original series era commanded the highest prices, while a photo of Data’s cat Spot brought in more than ten times its estimated value.

Fans looking for Star Trek memorabilia from the shows and from Star Trek: The Experience can participate either online or in person at the Propworx Star Trek auction to be held August 8, 2010 at the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel.

The auction, sanctioned by CBS, features items from Star Trek: The Experience as well as items from the collections of Doug Drexler, Michael and Denise Okuda, Rick Sternbach and Marc Zircee.

Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan may be almost thirty years old, but memorabilia from the movie still commands a high price.

Captain Kirk’s Star Trek uniform from Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, sold several days ago at the Heritage Auction Galleries auction, ended up bringing in the second-highest price of the auction.

Fans looking to obtain Star Trek memorabilia once owned by Gene Roddenberry should attend an auction to be held in Las Vegas in June.

The sale, to be held at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas on June 27, will benefit charity, with the proceeds going to the Roddenberry Foundation.

Dave Rossi, one of the producers of Star Trek: Remastered, has contributed Star Trek items in an auction to benefit charity.

The Hollywood schoolhouse will be the beneficiary of this charity auction. Proceeds will support the school’s financial aid program.

Gene Roddenberry‘s son Rod Roddenberry is auctioning off items once belonging to his parents to raise money for the people of Haiti.

Like so many, Rod’s heart was touched by the devastation caused by the 7.0 earthquake in Haiti. “Here’s the deal, there are a lot of people suffering in Haiti right now and we can all do something about it,” he said.

A few days ago, Profiles in History held its thirty-seventh auction of Hollywood memorabilia, and included in the auction were forty-odd Star Trek items.

The Star Trek items did very well, with all of the lots sold except for eight, with some of the pieces selling well above their estimated prices.
