Fans of the Star Trek/Legion of Superheroes comic series will want to head to the stores, as the third issue in the series releases today.
This issue of the Star Trek/Legion of Superheroes series is written by Chris Robertson, with art by Jeffrey and Philip Moy, with covers by Phil Jimenez and Mike Grell.
Three new Star Trek comics will be released by IDW Publishing in February 2012.
The three new comics include: Star Trek #6, Star Trek Classics Vol. 2: Enemy Unseen and Star Trek/Legion of Super-Heroes #5.
For Star Trek comic fans, a new release to hit stores tomorrow features four Star Trek stories.
The Star Trek 100-Page Spectacular was written by John Byrne, Scott Tipton, David Tipton and Stuart Moore. Artwork was created by Byrne, David Messina, Federica Manfredi and Mike Hawthorne, while the cover was created by Joe Corroney.
Writer and Star Trek fan Chris Roberson had the enjoyable task of writing a comic that had the crew of the original series interacting with the characters from the Legion of Super Heroes.
Roberson believes that the idea for the crossover was inspired. “If the concept of the Enterprise crew meeting the Legion of Super Heroes doesn’t appeal to you, there may be something wrong with you,” he said.
The second issue of the new Star Trek comic series from IDW Publishing is due out tomorrow.
In Star Trek #2, “Kirk and Spock face off against one of their own when crewman Gary Mitchell is possessed by an entity of unfathomable power.”
