Galaxy Quest To Become A Series

The cult classic Galaxy Quest, which parodied Star Trek, will be coming to the small screen.

The series, based on the 1999 movie, will come courtesy of Paramount Television.

Star Trek: The Ultimate Voyage musical event will be arriving in North America next year.

Next year, Chattanooga’s Scenic City Opera will feature Mozart and Star Trek.

Artistic Director/Founder Laura Sage has announced two shows for next year, and one of them, Mozart’s Abduction from the Seraglio will be Trek-themed.


USS Enterprise Miniature Out For Refit

Fans hoping to see the original USS Enterprise miniature seen in the original series will have to wait a while, as the ship has been taken away for “conservation work.”

The ship’s home since 2000 had been in the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum in the museum gift shop.


Sesame Street Numeric-Con

In “U,” the unforgettable hero Kahless is “betrayed by his brother [and] forced to go down into the underworld and to invent the close range conflict weapon Bat’leth to topple the tyrant Molo.”


Today Was A Bad Day To Imbibe

Fort Lauderdale resident Johnnie Blade decided to play the Klingon in the middle of a residential intersection, wielding a Klingon Bat’leth.

The man was “wildly swinging” the four-foot long sword and “proudly displaying” it to passing motorists.
