A Klingon Christmas Carol is the first play to be performed entirely in Klingon.

There will be six conventions, shows or appearances in December 2014 and January 2015 that will feature actors of interest to Star Trek fans. This listing of conventions and shows features actors from all of the televised series and several of the Star Trek movies.

December begins with the Steel City Con, to be held December 5-7 at the Monroeville Convention Center in Monroeville, Pennsylvania. In attendance at the Steel City Con will be Michael Dorn and Terry Farrell.

Star Trek Thirty-Five Years On 35MM: A Retrospective

A Klingon Christmas Carol’s Last Season

In December, the last performance of A Klingon Christmas Carol will take place in Chicago.

This year’s performance will take place December 4-21 at the Athenaeum Theater in Chicago.


Paramount London Star Trek Attraction

Some concept art for the proposed Paramount London Entertainment Resort includes a Star Trek-themed area.

The attraction, in the consultation phase before work begins, is slated to open in 2020.

Written by Marc Cushman, the seven-hundred-and-fifty-four page book will come out before Christmas, if a new Kickstarter campaign is successful.

Trek Screenwriter Washington D.C. Appearance

Screenwriter Morgan Gendel, who wrote the Hugo Award-winning The Next Generation episode The Inner Light, will be in D.C. to screen the episode and to conduct a writing workshop.

The free screening of The Inner Light will be followed by a discussion and a question and answer session.
