Kate Mulgrew is to receive one of the three awards given out at this year’s Stella By Starlight Gala.

The Stella By Starlight annual event raises funds for the Stella Adler Studio of Acting which trains young artists including low-income inner-city New York City teenagers.

Saldana: No Boycott

Zoë Saldana is not joining the boycott against fashion designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana.

The designers, who are themselves gay, caused a firestorm last week when they gave an interview to a magazine saying that they opposed gay couples having families of their own.
