Star Trek into Darkness guest star Alice Eve will be the voice of the Star Trek into Darkness audionovel.

Eve, who plays Carol Marcus in the movie, will read the audionovel; a seven CD set which will run eight hours and thirty minutes in length.

The Star Trek into Darkness audionovel will release on May 21 and sell for $29.99 at Amazon. The audionovel will also be available on iTunes and audible.com

A new Star Trek book, How to Speak Klingon – Essential Phrases for the Intergalactic Traveler, will be released this spring.

Star Trek author Peter David has finally returned home after suffering a stroke at the end of last year.

David, who was on vacation when the stroke happened, had been undergoing rehab in Jacksonville, Florida.

A holiday vacation in Florida turned out to be anything but relaxing for Star Trek author Peter David, who suffered a stroke while at Disney with his family.

Thankfully, David survived the stroke and is making progress in his recovery, but medical bills are piling up and fellow authors are getting the word out about how David’s fans can help.

Star Trek author Thomas Eugene DeWeese passed away in March at the age of seventy-eight.

DeWeese was the author of half a dozen original series and Star Trek: The Next Generation novels, which he authored under the name Gene DeWeese.

With the release of Star Trek Vanguard: Storming Heaven this week, the Star Trek Vanguard saga is coming to an end.

Star Trek Vanguard: Storming Heaven is a true finale to the series. “The final Vanguard novel, Storming Heaven, continues that tradition by representing another first in Star Trek fiction: a planned ending to a literary original series,” said Author David Mack. “The last thing we wanted was to overstay Vanguard‘s welcome by churning out novels that did little to advance its overall narrative.
