Actor Stewart Moss, best-known to fans of the original series, is dead at the age of seventy-nine.

Moss was a guest star on The Naked Time, where he played Joe Tormolen. He also appeared in By Any Other Name as Hanar.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, Moss appeared in many television shows dating back to the mid-1960s. He appeared on shows such as The Fugitive, Rawhide, 12 O’clock High, Bonanza, Perry Mason, The Invaders, Hawaii Five-O, Ironside, The F.B.I., Medical Center, Hogan’s Heroes, Kojak, Cannon, The Six Million Dollar Man, and many more.

Some of his film credits for Moss include In Harm’s Way, Chubasco, Pendulum, Topaz, The Bat People, and Raise the Titanic.

Moss also wrote an episode of Trapper John, M.D., and directed a stage production of The Shadow Box.

The news of Moss’ death came late, as the actor passed back in September. Moss died of a heart attack, leaving behind a wife, Marianna McAndrew.
