Star Trek Beyond Wins Award

The fourth annual Makeup Artists and Hair Stylists Guild Awards ceremony was held on Sunday and Star Trek Beyond took home one of the twenty-three awards.
Star Trek Beyond won in the Feature Motion Picture: Best Special Makeup Effects category. The other nominees in that category included Deadpool, Doctor Strange, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them, and Suicide Squad.
The makeup artists for Star Trek Beyond were Joel Harlow and Richie Alonzo.
This year’s ceremony was held at The Novo by Microsoft at L.A. Live.
Star Trek Beyond is also up for an Oscar for Best Makeup & Hairstyling. The other nominees for the award are A Man Called Ove and Suicide Squad.
