Star Trek Online 3D Print Custom Starships

A new partnership between Perfect World Entertainment and Cryptic Studios, and 3D printing company Eucl3d will mean that soon captains will now have the ability to “customize and print 3D models of their own ships.”

Players will be able to “print any of the starships they own in game with all of Star Trek Online‘s customization options, from personalized ship names, colors, shield skins, to entire ship sections like saucers, engines or anything else that is available in our expansive ship editor.

Star Trek Online currently offers over four hundred ships, giving captains millions of different customization possibilities to choose from. Ships will be printed into detailed twelve inch 3D models using the latest in full-color 3D printing technology and shipped to doorsteps all across the world.
