1 min read

William Shatner is out and about promoting his book Leonard: My 50 Year Friendship with a Remarkable Man, and the actor spoke to the BBC about his friend Leonard Nimoy and the nature of friendship in the world of acting.

According to Shatner, due to the transient nature of acting, friendships may be made quickly but often fade when actors move on to other projects, in spite of best efforts.

“Solid connections are difficult to make,”  said Shatner. “and I cherish the one I had with Leonard.”

Shatner wanted fans to know that “I had a wonderful friendship with Leonard Nimoy.” He was “dear to me.”
