2 min read

2016 is still brand new, but already talk of Star Trek calendars for 2017 has begun.

Six calendars are expected to be released for 2017.

The six include: Star Trek 50 Artists, 50 Years; Star Trek Beyond, Ships of the Line, Star Trek (original series), 2017 Engagement Calendar, and the 2017 Daily Calendar.

Two of the calendars, the Star Trek 50 Artists, 50 Years; and the Star Trek Beyond Calendar, are new offerings.

Star Trek 50 Artists, 50 Years “showcases the work of artists from around the globe who created original pieces to celebrate Star Trek‘s Fiftieth anniversary. With easily detached perforations above and beneath the image, each calendar page becomes an 11×14-inch easy-to-frame poster perfect for display in a standard gallery frame,” and features artwork by “Leonard Nimoy, Tom Whalen, Nick Walker, Johnson Tsang, Derek Charm, Susan Beatrice, and others.”

Star Trek Beyond “celebrates the action and intrigue of the U.S.S. Enterprise’s new cinematic adventure.”

Ships of the Line “is dedicated to showcasing spectacular images of the most famous vessel in the Federation: the U.S.S. Enterprise (NCC-1701), in a variety of iconic scenes and settings.”

The Star Trek Calendar “features full-color photos of the entire original bridge crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise.

The 2017 Engagement Calendar will also be focused on the original series in honor of its Fiftieth anniversary. “Featuring more than forty fan-favorite images from Star Trek: The Original Series, this sixteen-month engagement-style calendar will captivate casual fans and die-hard Trekkers alike.”

And finally, the 2017 Daily Calendar “celebrates the landmark 50th anniversary of the iconic sci-fi franchise with canonical quotations, Trek trivia, character biographies, alien languages, and lore from more than four decades of Federation history every day of the year.” This calendar includes the entire franchise, not just the original series.
