Karen Montgomery, who guest starred on Star Trek: The Next Generation, has died at the age of sixty-six.
Montgomery is best-known to Trek fans as Beata, the head of the government on Angel 1 (Star Trek: The Next Generation: Angel One)
After her role in The Next Generation, Montgomery worked behind the scenes, as an assistant, a producer and a development executive.
Montgomery died after a long battle with breast cancer. She is survived by her husband, mother, and brother.
