Stewart in Wolverine?

1 min read

Has Sir Patrick Stewart signed on for Wolverine 3?

The actor addressed rumors of his participation in the project while promoting his latest series, Blunt Talk.

When asked if the rumors of his involvement were true, Stewart said, “I think what you say is true. There is a project in development. I understand that Professor Xavier will be making more than an appearance, however, and that intrigues me.”

Stewart also spoke about Wolverine aging. “The idea of an old Wolverine – I’m really looking forward to Hugh Jackman getting old,” he said. “You know, damn him. He looks so great! So I’m hoping to see him covered in prosthetics, you know? And then he’ll make me look better if that’s the case.

“[Wolverine’s] not supposed to [age]. Unfortunately, actors do and so I think Hugh maybe has begun to get a little uncomfortable, and I know how that feels.”

Wolverine 3 will be released March 3, 2017.

  1. This site is still loading ridiculously slowly. Come on, guys–fix the site! The old design may have been ugly, but at least it was functional.

  2. I totally agree. Does anybody read these comments? I appreciate having a non-Paramount site for Trek items, but I really miss the simple chronological news feed. Sorting through all the different categories on this very cumbersome site is just not worth my time.

  3. Hi Idude, yes and I’ve responded to Sister numerous times but he/she doesn’t want to respond so i can’t solve that person’s issues.

In terms of your points, the left hand navigation is chronological. You can use that. However – I do take your point that there’s no simple chronological list. There’s no easy way to implement it, so I’m looking into it. Stay tuned.

  4. yes, the left side is chronological, but it only shows the 5 most recent. There’s no scroll bar to go farther back, at least not on Chrome.

  5. There should be a ‘load more’ option, if you scroll down in that window. I find it a little cranky at times, possibly the advert above it is pushing it out. I would appreciate any feedback if you see that button.

  6. Thank you. Is there a better place to leave feedback, so we are not cluttering up the article comments?

  7. I’d like to echo Kang’s comment; it seems weird to be leaving all of this in an article comment, and if there’s a better way to do it I will; just please let me know. Concerning the “load more”, I can see it if I reduce the zoom on my screen to make everything tiny, and it works just fine, but if I zoom back in the scroll bar goes away as soon as I navigate to an article.

  8. Thank you for being so considerate – please email newtrek@b5tv.com and I will respond. I am fixing a few bits and pieces still, so can see if anything is on my radar.
