Star Trek Beyond Hiring Interns

1 min read

An internship program for aspiring filmmakers will take place this autumn on the Star Trek Beyond set in Dubai.

The program will run from September 13 through October 2015, depending upon the film schedule.

“We are delighted to be able to offer this exciting opportunity to aspiring filmmakers, who will have the chance to gain international exposure, learn about new aspects of the film industry and earn valuable on-set experience,” said Jamal Al Sharif, Chairman of DFTC.

“The interns will also have the chance to be part of a global franchise, engage with renowned industry professionals, and learn about the advanced facilities and infrastructure that Dubai offers as a filming destination.”

Interns need to be able to reside in the UAE for the internship period and possess computer skills. Other skills, such as oral and written communication skills, both in English and Arabic are preferred.

The interns will be working in various positions and departments including “production office, assistant director, locations, hair and make-up, set design, wardrobe and VFX (visual effects).”

Those interested are encouraged to submit their resume and a cover level to startrek@filmdubai.gov.ae.
