IDW Publishing has announced its comic line-up for June 2015 and two Star Trek comics are on the list.
The comics for June include Star Trek #46, and Star Trek: New Visions, Vol. 2.
Star Trek #46 continues its five-year mission of the USS Enterprise. In this issue, part one of The Tholian Webs is presented. The Tholian Webs is an “epic re-imagining of a classic Star Trek episode,” and in this story, “the crew of the new movie timeline encounters a mysterious and deadly alien force… and not all of the crew will make it out alive!”
Written by Mike Johnson, with art by Rachael Stott and a cover by Joe Corroney, the thirty-two page issue will sell for $3.99.
Next up is Star Trek: New Visions, Vol. 2. Writing, art and cover will be done by John Byrne in this second volume of “feature length tales” set in the original series time frame.”
In Star Trek: New Visions, Vol. 2, the stories are Cry Vengeance, Made Out of Mudd, A Scent of Ghosts, and Memorium, plus an “all-new Gold Key crossover story you never expected with an ending you won’t believe!”
One hundred-and-forty-four pages in length, Star Trek: New Visions, Vol. 2 will sell for $19.99.

Looking forward to the use of Gary Seven in the next John Byrne Trek comic. Going to get it. Glad it’s interesting to him too – – he thinks, like me, that it deserved more than it got. (the ‘what could’ve been’ is of great interest to me) Hope he keeps using the character.
