In Made Out of Mudd, “Harry Mudd get[s] under Jim Kirk’s skin like never before… alien artifacts, Klingons and a madman’s schemes add up to major headaches for the good captain and his crew. And lest we forget, there be Tribbles, too — in a separate story.”

  1. Good god this is awful. It’s time for Byrne to stop with the mediocre Photoshopping and get back to drawing Star Trek. There are just too many badly composited elements that draw me out of the story because they scream “Photoshop!!” This was a novel idea the first time and I was able to forgive the mediocre ‘shopping. Now it’s just annoying because he’s turning out substandard work when he could be drawing either Trek or another of his “Byrneverse” (or whatever we call his original works like Cold War, Trio Triple Helix, High Ways, Doomsday.1 stuff).

I can’t wait till he returns to one of those books and I’ll pass on the cut and paste Trek in the hopes he returns to drawing Trek.
