Sir Patrick Stewart is one of the featured stars in a new documentary about Twitter.

The documentary about the social media site will be shown in Cannes, France later this year.

In the thirty-minute documentary, viewers will see how Twitter provides “global attention to the media world.”

“Essentially the message is that the creative process is becoming faster and more open,” said Joel Lunefield, Twitter‘s VP of global brand strategy. “The culture has shifted to live.”

In the video clip seen at the referring site, Stewart explained that Twitter “connects [people] to events. It connects them to people instantly.”

  1. No idea whether it came from Twitter or not, but Stewart’s lobster-suit-in-a-bathtub pic is priceless!
