Several more Trek comics will be hitting store shelves in September.
The comics include Star Trek Harlan Ellison’s The City on the Edge of Forever #4, Star Trek #37 Q Gambit, and Gold Key Archives Star Trek Vol. 2.
The City on the Edge of Forever #4 continues the story of Ellison’s teleplay adaptation. “As Kirk and Spock bide their time in 1930s New York, Kirk finds himself doing the unthinkable – falling in love with a woman of the past! And all the while, a murderer from their own era draws ever closer, threatening to alter the very fabric of history!”
Written by Scott and David Tipton, with art by J.K. Woodward and a cover by Juan Ortiz, the comic will sell for $3.99 and will arrive in stores on September 17.
Star Trek #37 features part three of Q Gambit. In this issue, “Captain Kirk and the crew of the Enterprise find themselves decades in the future thanks to the mischievous Q. The galaxy has changed beyond recognition…and nowhere more so than on Earth itself!”
Written by Mike Johnson, with art and cover by Tony Shasteen, Star Trek #37 Q Gambit will sell for $3.99 and will arrive in stores September 3.
Gold Key Archives Star Trek Vol. 2 features “the first comic book adventures of the U.S.S. Enterprise and her crew! Fully re-mastered with new colors, this volume collects issues #7-12, including stories such as The Voodoo Planet, The Legacy of Lazarus, The Brain Shocker, and more.”
