A new guest role on Showcase’s Lost Girl was a lot of fun for Star Trek‘s George Takei.

Takei will be appearing as a gentleman with magical powers in the Season Four premiere of the supernatural crime drama.

Lost Girl premiered in 2010 on Canada’s Showcase, and is the story of the “bisexual succubus” Bo, who is learning how to use and control her supernatural abilities, and who is seeking her origins.

Takei explained that his character is “thoroughly evil,” and playing the character gave him a “juicy character to sink my teeth into.”

“I play a very elegant, very debonair and obviously quite foppish gentleman who has enormous powers,” said Takei. “And he’s also very, very wealthy and so it’s a lot of fun playing this over-the-top kind of character.

“I’m a very theatrical person and this character is very theatrical, quite over the top…”

The Season Four premiere of Lost Girl will air Sunday, November 10, at 10 PM on Showcase.

  1. I am amazed this show has made it to a “fourth” season. Terrible show. Terrible acting. Terrible production values.
