Paramount: We Did Well

Although operating profits for Paramount was down for the fiscal year which ended in September, there were bright spots when it came to the financial report.

One of those bright spots came courtesy of the summer movies, including Star Trek into Darkness.

The Third Annual SET Awards were held today and Star Trek into Darkness was one of the honorees.

The SET Awards are “presented to movies, TV series, radio and TV news programs, print and online journalism for accurate and impactful entertainment portraying and promoting the fields of science, engineering, technology and mathematics.”


Giacchino TV/Film Panel Appearance

Fans of Michael Giacchino take note; the composer will be appearing with Dave Porter (Breaking Bad) in a discussion panel.

The panel will take place after a screening of Thomas Dolby‘s The Invisible Lighthouse.


New Deep Space Nine Station

Doug Drexler has unveiled designs for the new Deep Space Nine station.

The new station is to be built in a Starfleet, not a Cardassian, style.

More Ships From Official Starships Collection

The Next Generation Pre-Paid Credit Cards

Back in May, released prepaid credit cards featuring images from four of the five televised series, and cards featuring images from that fifth series are now available.

More than a dozen prepaid credit cards with characters and ships from Star Trek: The Next Generation are available.
